But true to their predatory nature with little regard for the law, heavily accented agents in India are calling Household International - HSBC customers as early as 6 AM, seven days a week including Sundays. Some blame it on call centers in India. Others say predatory late processing of payments forces customers into a pattern of abuse where, in fact, their payment was made on time. Why is predatory lender HSBC looking at college students and UMUC?

Having saturated the working adult population with credit card offers, credit card companies are now banking on a new market: college students. Under regular credit criteria, many students would not be able to get a card because they have no credit history and little or no income. But the market for young people is valuable, as industry research shows that young consumers remain loyal to their first cards as they get older.

Consumer lender Household International manages the Best Buy credit card.Household Watch consumer advocates reports alarming trends discovered by Best Buy credit customers. In an ongoing investigation forwarded to U.S. regulators Household Watch discovered that the problems are not limited to Best Buy, and are driven by Household Retail Services, aka Retail Services, aka HRS.
