If you worked overtime for HSBC, HSBC Finance, or any subsidiaries such as Beneficial or HFC you can seek relief. A new suit was filed today. The suit follows the recent conditional FLSA certification by Judge Maxine Chesney of the Northern District of California of Nichols Kaster & Anderson’s Wong, et al. v. HSBC Mortgage Corporation (USA), et al. (07-cv-2446) suit.
Plaintiffs are represented by Donald Nichols and Paul J. Lukas from Nichols Kaster & Anderson, PLLP in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bryan J. Schwartz and Matthew C. Helland from Nichols Kaster & Anderson, LLP, in San Francisco, California, and Toni Jaramilla, a Los Angeles-based attorney. The case is entitled Levy et al. v. HSBC Bank USA, NA, et al., Case No. 08-cv-02232, (C.D. Cal.).
