J.G. reports: “I was about to recently refinance my home. I found that through HSBC there has been a credit card opened in 08/06, which my husband and I have disputed with the credit reporting agencies. The balance is $1543 on a $2000 credit limit. We have been unsuccessful so far with HSBC to remove this. It is definitely not ours. What can we do, please?”
