C.F. in Tennessee had kind words for us, and motivation for those seeking help. Here is the report:

“This is just to let you know that after filing a complaint with ” THE OCC -The Administrator of National Banks” Customer Assistance Group Phone (800) 613-6743, FAX (713) 336-4301. A contact I got from this site, I got a full refund from HSBC. HSBC had deducted $9.95 a month for a year from an account I rarely used for something called “Identity theft Protection.”. I was amazed they could do that without my authorization, but their story was, I ordered it on their automated system when I called to activate my card. I was given the royal runaround from customer service leading me to payoff and close the account. About a month later I got a check form them for the full $131.00 amount. Shortly after that I got a nice letter from the Comptroller of Currency Customer Assistance Group saying they hoped they had settled it in a satisfactory way. They were great. Make note of the numbers if you have a problem with Household Bank. “
