The company is a wholesale lender specializing in non-conforming residential mortgage loans and debt consolidation loans. It operates through more than 20 branches in cities nationwide, as well as through relationships with loan brokers and correspondents. Decision One Mortgage is owned by big British bank HSBC Holdings through its US-based HSBC Finance subsidiary. HSBC Finance is the new name of predatory lender Household International.
