“Their customer care, as they like to call it, - Where is it? HSBC HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE! I have never received customer service like this. I plan to cancel all credit cards with HSBC. You read their website with false statements claiming “customer service is their number one priority” and they have the “best customer service relations to help with customer care”. In truth they have no relations with ther customers and don’t care to. My suggestion is don’t ever deal with HSBC and cancel all dealings with HSBC and their holding companies.”
Backed by personal experiences of Household - HSBC Watch volunteers, and having reviewed the history of Household International and William Aldinger, one might agree with the above assessment. In 2004 a customer service rep received the quote of the year for saying customers were “pieces of s**t”, and in 2005 a CSR received the quote of the year for saying “you, like other callers, are lying”. CSR’s walk a fine line as they prey on some customers, thus not being honest and professional. Predatory shady lenders lack integrity.
To fool the government a bank’s website might claim many features and benefits. Proof of their existence, such as great customer service, comes later. HSBC Finance Corporation is a ‘pay for performance’ company, meaning CSR’s and supervisors look out for the company instead of you. If someone is a victim of identity theft or fraud the last thing they need is poor customer service. Unfortunately Household International, HFC, Beneficial Finance, and later HSBC perfected the ‘run-around’ and delaying tactics, further advancing the bank at the expense of the customer.

I am a holder of HSBC Status account No. 005 xxxxxx, and since the time I received it I have NOT received the PIN, that was last month.
I was asked to file a request for PIN and I was told I can collect it after a week. When a week passed I asked Al Sadd, the branch I file the request, I was told I have to go to Grand Hamad where my account was opened. When I called Grand Hamad to verify before I come to collect I was told they dont have it.
A few days after someone called me in my mobile and told me my ATM PIN and Internet Access is ready in Grand Hamad for me to collect. I called before I came, I was told it is not there, I had to go to Al Sadd. Now I’m really lost.
HSBC customer care is the worstest i have ever seen.Most of the time phone number you are not able to make through and even if you are successful , the executive are very rash .
Receiving the monthly statements is antoher issue.You never know what all the charges they include in your monthly statments,unless you are very careful.
HSBC HAS THE WORSTEST AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE .IT IS NIGHTMARE!!!! HAVING CREDIT CARD WITH HSBC.
An HSBC robotic telephone system has been calling my classroom a few times a day. VERY invasive as I try to teach my 7th grade class! I can’t get anyone in customer service to do anything about this problem; please STOP calling my classroom! I have been hung-up on, transferred to India, and just can’t find anyone to help. It’s extremely annoying!

I was called 7 times in one week to apply for the identity plan. I got so fed up I said yes send me in introduction info, so I could read about it and sign it if I agreed. They send send it back with the self addressed envelope( which was not in the packet) signed and try it for 30 days free. After 30 days then fees would apply. I had no intention on applying, I just wanted them to leave me alone. So I wrote on the packet, (not interested) did not sign it and returned immediately.My october statement had the charges on it. How dare them apply fees for something I signed in black and white NO. All this does is cause us more stress having to call, be kept on hold and talk to several people over and over repeating and repeating. I am paying off the balance and will never deal with them again. They are sneaky, sneaky , sneaky crooks.
