Household HSBC Watch

It’s official. Here is the HSBC and Household Bank quotable quote for 2005:

“He huffed and insisted I was lying. I asked him if that’s what he was implying, and he said ‘You, like these other customers who say this, are lying and just didn’t make a payment.’” (see article)

It’s hard to top the quotable quote of 2004, wherein an employee called consumers “pieces of s**t” - making it clear that simply being liars is probably a step down. There is not doubt about what HSBC and Household International think of us as customers.
