CHICAGO (MarketWatch) — Saks Inc. shares slumped 10% Friday after a retail-industry trade magazine reported that the parent of the Saks Fifth Avenue stores as well as more moderately priced stores such as Carson Pirie Scott and Bergner’s could be picked apart by the time a sale deal is inked.
