HSBC aims new cards at doctors and dentists
HSBC has introduced two new co-branded credit cards aimed at medical professionals. The new HSBC Dr Family Card and the HSBC Dentist Family Card will be marketed to the 27,000-plus members of the Medical Association of Thailand and the Dental Association of Thailand.
Wichit Phayuhanaveechai, head of marketing and communications for HSBC, said the target group had average card spending of 30,000 baht per month, significantly higher than the 7,000-baht average for its card base. Holders of the new cards who spend 3,000 baht in the first month will receive a one-baht-weight gold necklace under a special promotion.
