Florida Gov. Jeb Bush on HSBC

“We are delighted to congratulate HSBC on the expansion of their mortgage services operations. This announcement and the expansion of HSBC’s employees signifies the continued strength of the financial services sector,” said Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

HSBC Mortgages include HSBC Finance Corporation which is the new name of former disgraced predatory lender Household International. Sued nationwide in 2002, Household paid $484 million which did not adequately compensate victims. Governor Bush’s brother George subsequentlt signed into law new bankruptcy regulations which then further hurt customers.
