One report from HSBC in England said recently that HSBC introduced a new credit card to help customers keep their balances down. Meanwhile a report from Mumbai India said HSBC and other banks in the US, UK, and India are offering promotions to get customers to use their credit cards during the lean season of June and July. Which HSBC promotion are we to believe?

Said a member of Household - HSBC Watch, “I got an offer from Compass Bank (in the US) to charge $495 or more on my debit card just to get a $10 Amazon.com gift certificate. It did not hit the mark as a valuable offer.”
