Alkesh Shah Heads HSBC Technology Sector Research
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., a unit of HSBC Plc said Alkesh Shah joined as managing director responsible for research coverage of the technology sector. Based in New York, he reports to Graham Copley, head of research for the Americas. HSBC USA also owns former predatory lender Household International. US consumer advocate organization Household - HSBC Watch suggests Shah should analyze their own operations for technology deficiencies. “Perhaps Shah and Andrew Armistead can explain why payments are credited late and HSBC’s online payment website doesn’t work for thousands of consumers.” said consumer advocates.
