Menards Struggles in NHRA Drag Racing
Menards, a store that uses Household and HSBC for financing, continues to sponsor a top fuel NHRA dragster. An expensive endeavor, the Menards car has underperformed, as has Menards. One way to fund an expensive sponsorship in NHRA is to receive “ongoing compensation” from HSBC. Customers that pay unwarranted late fees, overlimit fees, and possibly illegal interest don’t agree. Household - HSBC Watch consumer advocates suggests Menards should get better reliable reputable financing. “This weekend in Phoenix the Menard’s sponsored NHRA dragster failed to qualify. In our opinion Menard’s financing fails to qualify as trustworthy” said a member of Household - HSBC Watch who has been involved with NHRA drag racing since 1965.
