Military PCS Moves a Problem

Active duty service members are reporting an ongoing problem with HSBC - Household International, according to watchdogs at Household - HSBC Watch. Reports received for the last four years indicate problems with receiving statements and bills following a PCS (permanent change of station) move. Reports indicate that the service members generally receive all of their bills and mail is forwarded from everyone except Household - HSBC. If you are on active duty and have credit card from one of HSBC’s merchants ( see list ) or financed a vehicle or recreational vehicle, send your change of address card with proof of delivery, according to Household - HSBC Watch.

“Failure to acknowledge receipt of a change of address is an ongoing trend, as reported by the military community and the civilian sector. Protect your credit and your family at all times” the group said. If you experienced this problem you may report it in the Household - HSBC Watch forums.

One Response to “Military PCS Moves a Problem”

  1. I’m fighting HRS because after returning from Iraq, I financed a motorcycle. Since leaving the military and moving, NO bills are sent here even though I reported a change of address 3 times. I got hung up on today after being 60 days late and having no address to send them a check. They continually charge me late fees and my interest is skyrocketed.
