Secret That HSBC Doesn’t Want You To Know
Even though we caution our visitors, if you decide to fill out an application for a Best Buy credit card or a credit card from any of HSBC - Household’s merchants, try this trick:
1. After filling out the application go to the post office
2. Fill out a change of address card for your last address (no matter how long ago)
3. Mail the change of address card to the postal service (not to Household International)
4. See if your bill comes to you forwarded from the old address
If this happens you know Retail Services used your old address from your credit report or your application in an attempt to charge you more fees, interest, and late charges. Report your findings on Household Watch. You’ve been warned - we report; you decide!
