Household Settlement Less Than US$484 million
The Virginia attorney general reported today, 1 December 2004, that over 260 Virginians have not cashed their settlement checks from Household International.
Perhaps Household’s predatory lending “Live Checks” got these people in a jam in the first place? That is one scenario. Others include new lawsuits, RICO charges, or the checks are framed and hung on the wall.
