This is why the account is in error:
Household Retail Services reports the same account differently to Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union. In fact, consumers report that an open account with a $3000 balance is often interpreted by underwriters as three open accounts because of the difference. In addition to reporting the error on my credit report, I encourage your company to demand uniform and consistant reporting from Household International and subsidiaries thereof.

I’ve found an HSBC NV account on my credit report showing late payments.
I’ve never had this account let alone ever made late payments!!!
Just go online and they have an online credit dispute form. You might have to buy a credit report from them first though, I’m not sure.
