Topic Title: Suzuki GEFC sells HRSI my contract

BOy does this sound like a broken record or what??? I financed a bike through GECF. The first year of payments went by with no problems. Then out of the blue they call me and say I missed a payment 9 months ago and they are going to charge me 9 months of late fees. I said "no way" and my account was put into a review status.
2 months later and no contact from GECF and I get a bill from HSBC saying my account is 3 months overdue and will be charged off unless I pay the full amount outstanding on the loan. Also, they mention all the late fees from GECF have been rolled over into the balance and the only way to resolve this is by paying the balance in full.
I know this will *beep* my credit but I just can't see paying this incredible amount of late fees.
We monitor customer trends for possible violations of Regulation Z and other possible illegal actions.
