Well I was a happy 39 year's young when I purchased a brand new Suzuki
from the dealer.

I made a couple of payment's cool.

HRSI bought the contract from GEFC no problem (yea right!)

I could not find out were to send my payment, so I sent it to the same
mailing address at GEFC.

After serious confusion in finding my account at HRSI several weeks later
they inform me the $300 payment to GEFC was forwarded and there sending it back, due to the fact it was made out to Suzuki/GEFC.

I waited and no check came but an invoice came and stated that my account was going to collections, due to non payment ! (what!)

I called and made a electronic check transfer for $452, a month in
advance, they again stated my check would be returned.

Surprise! the day after the electronic transfer for $452, you know it!
it is deposited, $300 that I did not have in my bank.

This is just great! I had a couple of small purchases I made on a card
that day, and a check written.

Now I am at a big ------ in my account ! No money, fee's over $350
my bank paid the $300 from overdraft, as for the other things bounce, fee's, charges again and again.

I was in a hole after it was all over $850.

I call HRSI and they said we did not cash your check! ( :x :x

I fax a photo copied check and all charges that occured as instructed
by the collections dept 2x they tell me they never received it 2x :x

I can't get any answers from any supervisors they will not return any phone calls, fax documents, or I am on hold for 20 min "OH THERE BUSY"
Just arrived a invoice I owe $204 and it shows the + $300 then a reversal
-$300 for my check! "AINT THIS SPECIAL"

I DO HATE YOU PEOPLE AT HRSI/HSBC
WITH A SERIOUS VENGANCE ! YOU HAVE
MADE MY LIFE *beep* ! I WORK MY ASS OFF AND
DO NOT DESERVE THIS *beep* FROM YOU PEOPLE YOUR
OPERATIONS MANAGMENT TEAM SUCKS ! :x :x

I just bought a Kawasaki from a guy in a town about an hour away. The lien release paperwork was not notorized properly, so DMV won't accept it! The seller is cool, so he is trying to get these boneheads to correct the mistake. After reading some of the stuff here, I don't know if he'll have much luck!

There are many of us that have had similar problems with this sale of accounts. My account had a balance of $2k over my original contract and payments that were equal to my late payment amount. Turns out GE had been charging me late fees, which I did nothing to deserve. In addition, GE never updated my address after two attempts, so I didn't even know HRSI had bought the account until I called GE for my balance. Currently my account is in dispute.

The Manager said that there are many accounts like mine. Suspicious, I think so!
