Purchased furniture at Seaman's we were told 0 pecent for 1 year. I divided the payments by 12 and paid $100 dollars a month. After 6 months charged $80 dollar interest. Paid the full amount owed minus the $80 interest charge and called Retail services to let them know we were told by the salesman it would be a 12 month 0 percent. I was advised to go to Seaman's and have them change the promotional code. When I went to Seaman's the finance department stated I didn't spend $1000 to get the 12 month 0 percent. The paper I signed did state 6 months conflicting with the salesman. I did not pay the interest charge. I was then charged late fees. I wrote them a letter stating I would pay 50% of the interest because it is half my fault for not looking at the paperwork. At this time with late fees and interest it has built up to $170 and wet to the collection part of the bank. I called numerous times and am sent in circles.

Seaman's states the credit card has authority to remove charges. And Retail Services states they can't do anything without approval from Seaman's. I have excellent credit and they have reported me. When I called on 4/13 I was told that this is a big corporation did I think I was hurting them by not paying the bill that I was only hurting myself and all the charges are correct. I have never seen such poor business ethics or have been treated in this manor by any of our other creditors. i am going to pay them in full before I owe hundreds more. Thank you for your time.
