An open Heilig Meyers is showing on our Credit Report. We do not recall ever having activity with Heilig Meyes, but it is possible many years ago we did. The account shows as paid in full, but open. Is there a way to get this account to be closed and reflect so on our Credit Reports? Thank you for any assistance.

What is required to close an HRS account? Answer:
Send a letter to this address:

The following information needs to be included: 1. Your name
2. Your address
3. Your social security number
4. Your telephone number
5. The account number you want closed
We recommend that the account should specify "account closed at consumer request." It is our opinion that your letter should be sent with a proof of delivery request.
