This is in response to your Internet correspondence to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Customer Assistance Group (CAG). CAG answers questions and assists consumers in resolving complaints against national banks. A national bank is a bank that has the word National or the letters N.A. in its official name.

The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over the merchant. The OCC has jurisdiction over the bank and will also take your merchant complaint, attempting to rectify both. If there is no merchant, file your complaint with the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.)
I Filled out the online forms for both FTC and OCC they can not help me it is not in their jurisdiction they have said.
Its with HPShopping that I bought the computer on a no interest loan deal.
HSBC Retail Services has the account what a pack of liying thiefs they seem to be like I said I have paid over $400 on the computer and not one cent has gone to toward the loan its all been taken for intrest late charges. Heck you can even pay off a loan shark someday not this company Congress better do something about this stuff.
I finally resorted to sending a letter directly to the CEO back in 1998 (4 months into my 4 year car loan). He was responsive, but the customer service nightmare didn't stop. I had to resort to overnighting my payments directly to him, since they continually "lost" them (I originally sent them by certified mail, so I know they received them). Also, good luck at getting the CEO's name, I was actually laughed at by one of the so-called managers when I asked for it, I had to look it up myself. My thanks for being a pain in the butt and for paying off my loan a year early is that on my credit report, they have my car as repossessed. I am not looking forward to trying to straighten that out.
