Topic Title: No Statement - Wait 4 Days
My HRS account is for Yamaha. After never missing a payment, 2 months ago I didn't get a statement. I was assessed a late fee and paid it. I still haven 't got my statement for Feb, which was supposedly mailed on the 12th. I called and was told to wait for 4 more days and that my account was in collections. I paid via electronic check....they said "why would we not send you a statement?" I'll be paying off this acct. next month.

This is the same thing they told me in 1999. My account was with Best Buy. Write to your attorney general. You can quote me, or reply here and I will send you my email address, a formal letter, and everything else you need.
Call the idiots back and reference this website and FTC complaint 1782918, which is a catch-all filed by Household Watch. Maybe they will refund your fees. Ask them how your account is being reported to the credit reporting agencies before you write to your attorney general.
