HRS is tricky - they / Comp USA are deceiving consumers. In Dec 2004, I purchased a new computer - the whole nine yards. I was told that I would have 1 year same as cash, no minimum payment required. Since the purchase, I've been making regular payments to avoid not paying this balance off on time. This month, I get a bill and there is a late fee of $29 - what a joke!

I called them to try to get it removed by telling them I was supposed to be on the plan "no minimum payment due" and they refused to remove the late fee. This whole time, I've been a good customer - paying every month and I decided to skip last month because this is supposed to be a same as cash deal. These people are deceiving consumers and they should be put out of business by all the complaints listed on this website. I too, get a bill every once in a while... they are scammers.

I bought a lap top from Comp Usa and was told I did not have to make payments until January 2007. I received my Oct. 2005 statement and was charged a $35.00 late fee. I called their 1-800 number and was told that I was not being charged the inerest charge, but I still have to make a minumum payment. If I would of known that I still had to make payments, then why would I want to buy the lap top and wait until Jan of 07 to pay it off? I feel that I was misled and given false information about their "NO PAYMENTS UNTIL JAN. 07 PROMOTION!"
