Topic Title: Never received first statement

Never received the first bill. When 2nd bill was received had higher interest and past due payment.

We were never late on this payment. But it says that we were 120 days past due? What should I do?

I want to pay these crooks off. What do you suggest as a safe way to do so?

I just printed a copy of my credit report and it shows a negative report from HSBC/RS from May of 2000. I have never heard of them nor do I remember taking out any small credit lines during that time.

I want this item removed from my credit report. How do I go about it?
