Topic Title: My own information is confidential - fraud

I did not recieve a statement for March 2005. Called customer service and they informed me that the address had been changed and that they had sent me a letter to this affect on 2/25/05. I never recieved such a letter. I asked them to send me a copy of the letter and they replied that they couldn't, I would have to write or fax the corporate office in Wilmington DE. I then asked for the information on the "new" address and they said that was confidential information and they could not give it to me. I stated that this is my account and should be able to receive "confidential" information. They still would not provide me with any information. In my opinion, one of two scenarios probably exsist: internal fraud or a ploy to make the consumer pay their outragous interest rates even though they advertise 0% for x amount of months.

I have not received statements for months at a time, then receive threatening phone calls and harassment for non-payment - adding late charges and fees for paying by phone - want nothing further to do with them!
