Topic Title: My Micron Computer HSBC Horror Story

I purchased a Micron computer over four years ago through Household Bank. I made monthly payments, but the account balance never seemed to decrease. In 2003 I stopped making payments because I wasn’t making a dent in the amount Household Bank said I still owed. Now Micron has contacted me and has stated that they want to sue me for breach of contract and the amount I now owe is $3182.00. The original computer price was $2000.00. Family members and myself have been harassed by agents acting on behalf of the company. I feel that Household Bank did not accurately or honestly represent themselves or the agreement I signed to at the time of purchase. Household Bank also reflects its account twice on my credit report, which looks like I have two accounts when it is only one.
