I have had account with Levitz for quite sometime. I have been late with my payments and accept the $29 late fee. I had been going in to pay my account but this time I decided to mail it. I notice that the money was still in my account when I knew they should have received the payment by now. I called to see if they had gotten it before the payment date and they hadn't. They said wait awhile. We give it ten days after the fact. My payment never arrived.

I called and told them I would pay what I owe right now if they would reverse the $29 late fee but they refused. I even asked for a supervisor. I did not want something that I did not think I was entitled to. There check by mail was not the only payment that did not make it on time. But the other creditors allowed this one time to reverse the late fee which was also $29. I know certain things just happen. But I think anyone dealing with the public and know the credibility of that person should do the very best please the customer.
