Just wanted to let you know now. If you think retail services late fee policy is bad now, a new thing is coming 2/14/05. Good luck to you late bill payers.

Sorry about that. I'm not trying to offend anyone. That is for customers who were told by retail services that there payment was late.

You use the term "you late bill payers" but in many cases it is HSBC (Household) causing the payments to be late, either by duplicity, internal policies, third party handling, mail delays, Shea v Household, or other issues which warrant investigation.

Case in point: balance transfers for payoff not honored until interest is called due, then balance transfer is allowed to proceed.

Case in point: GECF to HSBC account transitions reveal a disturbing trend of having gone bad for many customers.

Some people do wait until the last day, and some think they can pay at the store. While this website and others attempt to inform customers HSBC will always capitalize on those who think they are dealing with a reputable financial institution, only to find out HSBC is the sheep in wolf's clothing stalking customers as the old predatory troubled lender Household International.

What will Valentines Day 2/14/2005 bring? A consumer Valentines Day Massacre? Or is this just a hoax? We shall see.
