In Dec 04, I was charged a $25.00 late fee (1 day late) although I mailed my payment 6 days before the due date. (We are about 2 hours driving time away from each other.) In Jan 05, I sent my payment by priority mail 4 days before the due date. On Jan 14 I called the customer service number at 6p.m. and my payment had not been posted so I made a phone payment from my checking account. My Feb 05 statement showed two payments received on Jan 14, my payment sent by mail and my direct payment by phone. My Dec and Jan statements also show a billed deferred finance charge on top of the regular finance charge. What is that charge for?

My payments due have been: Dec - $12.00, Jan - $28.00, Feb - $17.00. My payments I've sent you total $650.00.

I request reimbursement of the Dec late fee and deferred finance charges. (I now send my payment at least 8 days early due to USPS ineptness.) Thank you.

I have been paying my bills on line a year in time with always having problems with HRS Accounts. The problems being www.hrsaccount.com inaccessible, sometimes the page just does no open up after I give my bank details. I am really fed up doing business with these so called HRS accounts. Seem they are part of HSBC Bank. If so why should HSBC not take any positive action to work this out? If I am late due to their unapproachable site I have to pay the fees. It’s ridiculous!!!
