Today I find an open account on my credit report for HSBC-RS and no phone number to call them. It appears this was reported last year yet I have no bill, no card, no nothing to contact them with. Please help.

HSBC was on my credit report, which is being investigated by Equifax.

Never received my 1st bill and online customer service says I have the wrong soc.# and can't log in. I have two accounts, one seems fine so far. I am making payments without any invoicing. has been reported to credit agency w/ -0- amount due, but cust service (phone) says its due.

Since you have two accounts and one is accessable their customer service answer seems less than intelligent. In the same way, people have their refridgerator delivered by Best Buy, theyhave the correct address, and they deliver the merchandise. Then an HSBC Retail Services customer service representative tells the customer they have the wrong address.

As has been the case for the past 5 years at least, they make up answers, tell you things that are unbelievable, and then charge you more money. Without a doubt this is predatory credit card processing.
