Topic Title: HSBC RS Lies to Equifax

I am so upset and frustrated. I have had a problem with a negative item placed on my credit report from this hsbc/rs. I have disputed it over and over and over and over. I owe them nothing. They are liars, yet I can not get eqifax to remove it because hsbc/rs keeps saying that they have my name, my social and my address. BUT I do not owe them!!!!!!!!!! When I call to get it straightened out, hsbc/rs puts me through a merry go round of different numbers and I get nowhere! Everytime! I am at my wits end. This is the only negative item on my credit report!

My first payment was due 18 Apr 2005. I got my first bill in the mail 28 Apr 2005. I there was no account number on the contract I signed so when I called them I didn't have an account number to give them.
We monitor customer trends for possible violations of Regulation Z and other possible illegal actions.
