Topic Title: How Many Dummies Just Keep Paying

Post

First I caught them trying to keep billing me after I paid my account in full. When I caught them, they said NO Problem, I got mad and called them on it. I asked them if this is their way of doing business. See how many dummies out there just keep paying. Then I got a letter from them saying that a change of address has been accepted. I have been calling and faxing and writing to get information on the letter that they claim they would have had to receive to change my address. I told them I want to see if it is their mistake, or if someone has stolen my information. I am getting no help, I am ready to report this to the feds, and the state, and county, and city officials.

I started hearing about Household rip-offs. So I started sending some of my bills to Retail Services (Best Buy) via certification with delivery conformation to see if this was true. I noticed that on my bill payment was almost always posted three or more days later. I called to inquire and was told that they apply the date received. I informed the rep that I had delivery conformation and asked does anyone check the mail? They gave me the runaround and excuse after excuse. Luckily the late entry did not cause late fees. But I will never do business with them, when I found out that HSBC was my lein holder I quickly changed that after 2 months. I did not want this problem when it came to my loan.
