My daughter and I purchased a water softener from Ecowater Systems on October 19, 1998 with a contract for 48 months. HRSI is still sending us statements. I called 1-800-695-6950 and am told we have only been making payments since May 2004 and that we owe nearly the entire amount of the original purchase.
