Topic Title: Caught HSBC and Found Your Website

I just happened to be looking them up on the internet and saw your site and by gosh this happened to me and I thought I was going crazy because I received my first bill that said I was past due and I owed a late fee. I called them explaining I never saw a bill the month prior and they confirmed the address was correct and that they sent it out. I paid the late fee because I couldn't figure out how I missed it but I trusted they must be right - Now I know it wasn't me and they just made a couple dollars from me - AH!

In July 2004, I made a lump sum payoff of my HRS acct. and requested that my acct. be closed. I verified with my bank and have checked my HRS web acct which is still active and both show that I have a zero balance. However, when I when I checked my credit report last week, there is a delinquent mark on my acct for over $6,500 that appeared in November 2004 more than three months after the acct was completely paid off.
