Topic Title: Best Buy Warranty sucks
Best Buy suckered me into purchasing a warranty that "covers everything". Unfortunately, they did not say "don't try to use it". I purchased a three year warranty with my computer in 2002. I attempted to use the warranty in 2004 and was told the problems associated with the computer were accidential and intentional damage not wear and tear as covered by the warranty. I asked how can you tell the difference and was told that it has not happened to them.
I guess I should be a technician at Best Buy in order to be able to use my warranty. Amanda Dandridge
I used to like best buy. Never had any problems with them before. My Sprint cell phone broke down this week, so I took the phone to Best Buy and SURPRISE, they have changed policies, so you have to "send" the phone in to them so they can determine of there is somthing wrong. I cannot have my phone sent to Minnosota or wherever of two weeks!!! I rely on that phone, which is why I bought the sevice plan in the first place, I agreed to have the phone replaced IN STORE!! AVOID BEST BUY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
