I originally financed my motorcycle through GECF, a Suzuki finance company. After months of making steady payments I received a letter from HRC Services stating that they had bought my financing and I was to send payments to them once I received a statement. I received my first statement in August 2004 showing an past due balance. I immediately contacted the company and asked about the balance past due. Their representative told me not to worry, it was just a transition error and that he would take care of it. I contacted them subsequently 2 more times, and they informed me that "my check and their bill must have passed each other in the mail". Now in June 2005 I am being threatened with collections because of a missed payment. I am certain that I missed no such payment.
