Topic Title: $11 balance due after paid off

We paid off an account in January - now we recently received a statement for $11.11. Never did get a final response to the payment - just a bill for additional payment. Thanks.

I believe I have been wronged in resolving an old account dispute. I was told that if I paid off the balance that the report would not show up on my credit report and I just checked my credit report and it is on there past the 90 days I was told it would be on there. I am currently applying for a credit card and I was denied this card and I believe that this account played a large part in that denial.
