JK in New York said: “I believe HSBC also are sitting on credit card payments, in order to amass late fees and raise interest payments, as a punitive measure simply because I am trying to pay them off: To whom should I address this complaint?

SO in Montana said: “In 2003 I received a car loan. A couple weeks later a women ran a stop sign and hit my family. She totalled my car, so her insurance paid off the loan. (I have the documents to prove it.) I went in and HSBC let me get another car loan for the same price. Same car as well.

DC in Tennessee said: “I have had my payments to Beneficial coming out of my checking automatically. This is a mortgage. I have noticed for the past several months they are taking a mortgage payment every 20 days. I am being charged interest twice in one month.

SP in California said: “When I attempted to activate my card, I was given a list of security questions to answer, allegedly based on “public records.” In spite of the fact that I answered truthfully and I am the person to whom the credit card was sent, I “failed.”
