SB in Wisconsin said: “I fell behind with my HSBC car payment. When I tried to pay it they locked me out of the only payment I have ever made online. I had had problems even logging in because they had the hint wrong.

DS told us this in a recent email: “I have been paying extra every week on my equity mortgage to find that Beneficial is applying this extra money towards future monthly payments instead of applying it to my principal as most legitimate lenders do.

DS in Michigan said: “Have tried unsucessfully to get help from HFC 111/HSBC on our mortgage. After my husband suffered a series of strokes and filed for SS Disability we asked for help to reduce our mortgage payment. We were given a 6 month hardship…HSBC would not renew again.

Sa said this about HSBC and Davids Bridal: “I purchased a wedding dress for my daughter totaling $1,291.18. I had one year to pay the loan. During that time I thought I had an extra month to pay. When I received the last montly payment, there was an additional $400.00 tacked on which was the amount of interest. Unfortanately, I will take responsibility for the additional monies. However, on April 2009, I paid $1300.00, May, $286.48, and June, $200.00, totaling $1786.48. They owe me $95.30!
