For some reason, at the time of purchase, and unknown to me at that time, the lein for that seller was not removed from the title.

After my divorce, my ex-wife was required to make payments on our Beneficial loan (I’m the sole account holder, but she was going to pay it). In October of last year, she called and made a payment via phone check for the remaining balance.
