Angry in Canada said: “Tried to get wire transfer from offshore HSBC account. Waited already 2 weeks. Spoken to several people during the day and night, sent secure emails and faxes, still no luck. Getting all types of responses from HSBC outsourced call centre with different rep every time.”

MY in Maryland said: “I pulled my credit report and there seems to be an error. I am showing this account as an “Adverse Account” due to charge off/collections and closed in 5/2008. This account is still very much active and my payment is always paid in full and on time. This is damaging my credit and have requested that this be removed from my credit report immediately. I will follow up with a complaint to the FTC if this is not resolved in a timely manner.”

Ds in Pennsylvania said: “I am suing HSBC for $7.8 million for wrongful foreclosure and all the violations that go with it. I have requested proof of ownership (note) along with many forms mandated by the banking commission. Also I have requested exact proof of any binding contract between HSBC and myself in which 3 months later I have not received so much as a phone call let alone any efforts on HSBC part to renegotiate or settle. They are ignoring my lawsuit and HSBC defaulted by never answering or showing up on the court date.
RD in Iowa said: “Started seeing “Debt Cancellation” charges on my Best Buy Statement. I NEVER sign up for credit insurance. The customer service rep, an employee of HSBC, said that I had. I didn’t put up a fight, just had them cancel the coverage. Zero Percent Interest, my butt.”
