Rw in New York sent this opinion: “When I left HSBC, it was under very bad circumstances. Management was totally unethical and abusive to me and several other employees. When is someone going to send this company home. Get them out of this county!”
GP in New Hampshire said: “I have had my mortgage with HSBC from many years. I was always a good customer. I fell on hard times and they refused to work with me. I was in pre-forclosure for 2 years. During that time I gave them every extra cent I had. To the point that I ran late on everything else. They did pay my property taxes, because I didn’t have enough money to pay the taxes after giving HSBC all my money. I am now out of pre-forclosure, but my mortgage payment has more than doubled because I have 12 months to pay the taxes back. They refuse to rewrite my mortgage or work with me in anyway. It’s almost like they want to foreclose on my property. But I will fight with my last breath.”
DW in California made this short but alarming statement: “HSBC made 25 credit inquires on me starting on 04/18/2006, and it continues.”
AM in Texas said: “I worked for Beneficial for 11 years, and I left because they still overcharge customers with rates, right now I am closing loans at a 6.0 rate versus Beneficial that is charging over 11% with the same credit profile. The government needs to regulate this lending practices.”
