KS in Wisconsin said: “Regarding “WC” in Minnesota and helping customers I say Phooey to them, sounds like HSBC SOS to me. I have friends who work for the company in 25 different states including MN, and they all report that Customer Service is only to be handled by a Sales Assistant only! I confirmed with them my original report, and they agree that no Assistant manager or Branch Sales manager has the slightest interest in customer service, rather production and Insurance sales are the main issues of interest. I know the Regional Manager real well for “WC” and know for a fact they hide from such calls, as do the district managers and sales manager’s.

AN in Georgia said: “I paid off my motorcycle loan with HSBC. I received a letter indicating that it was paid in full and that my title was enclosed. There was no title included. I called customer support and was told they did not have the title and it was my responsibility to try and get one from the DMV or track it down. they also would not let me talk to anyone in the title department.”

BR in California said: “HSBC DID NOT JOIN the other 6 banks to put a 30 day hold on foreclosures.
Granted, 30 days is not much time, but BA, WELLS, WAMU, JP MORGAN, COUNTRYWIDE, CHASE stood up to try to do something for poor home sufferers.
SD in Pennsylvania said: “Well after reading numerous statements about how incredibly horrible HSBC is my fiancĂ©e and I started putting 2 and 2 together. We have numerous accounts with them, including Suzuki and Kawasaki, which are the absolute worst. I advise anyone with plans on purchasing a motorcycle or ATV to stay away from the credit they offer. When we first had these accounts they were through a company called GE and we never had a problem, then they sold out to HSBC and our nightmare began.
