JT in North Dakota said: “Be careful when paying your credit card bill online. I had a balance of only $2. The system would not allow me to pay that small of an amount online. I used their electronic messaging system to get clarification. I was not allowed to pay an overage to meet the minimum allowed on the website. By the time my issue was actually addressed, I was assessed a late charge. Additionally, my interest rate was increased to 25.49%. HSBC is as close to evil as a credit card company gets.”
VF in Pennsylvania said: “Just wanted to say I’m another victum of this FFPM and HSBC. I go to court on 1/08/09. Wish me luck. I have no money, and I am just trying to live payday to payday. That’s very hard to do when everything is going up.”
We received this comlpaint today. It echoes waht has been said for years, but violations of the FDCPA continue unabated: “HSBC calls me all the time throughout the day and evening 7 days a week. I am tired of this. This needs to stop. The number is 800-395-2274 with caller ID as Unknown.”
Ds in Pennsylvania said: “I am suing HSBC for $7.8 million for wrongful foreclosure and all the violations that go with it. I have requested proof of ownership (note) along with many forms mandated by the banking commission. Also I have requested exact proof of any binding contract between HSBC and myself in which 3 months later I have not received so much as a phone call let alone any efforts on HSBC part to renegotiate or settle. They are ignoring my lawsuit and HSBC defaulted by never answering or showing up on the court date.
