MS in Wisconsin said this about HSBC Finance: “If you are going to call me 13 times a day…SAY SOMETHING WHEN I ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!! I have never had a credit card in my LIFE or any loans for that matter so you are obviously calling the wrong number! When I answer the phone there is silence on the other end. I CANT TELL YOU ITS THE WRONG NUMBER IF YOU DONT SAY ANYTHING.”

Eb in California said: “I do not have an account with HFC, and never have. However, they keep on calling my number and asking for a Yvonne Bond - I know of no such person. They are calling the wrong number. I have told them repeatedly that I am not Yvonne, and to take me off the list, but they continue to call. I know that I have legal recourse at this point (I am saving the calls), but unsure of what legal recourse I can pursue at the national and California state level. Could someone lead me in the right direction re the laws that protect me?”
BO in Utah said: “HSBC has been calling my cell phone several times daily without leaving a message for months. The phone is mostly turned off. They might say a first name as if the phone was answered. Finally one of them left a phone number to call back and I traced it by means of google. Your site turned up on the search. So, here I am. The thing is they don’t even have the right phone number for whomever they are calling. And, they are calling my number for at least two different prospects.
AS in Texas said: “HSBC is calling my work cell phone number constantly for an account that belongs to my ex-husband from over 8 years ago! They even admitted in a phone call that I have nothing to do with this account! When I answer…THEY HANG UP….THEY WILL ASK IF THIS IS (MY NAME) and I say YES THEY HANG UP!!”
JA in Florida said: “We do not owe HSBC a cent. It is our son who owes them. I would like for them to stop calling us. He does not live here.”
