I have them both written down in my Franklin and I wasn’t allowed to make a payment, I am out of town so I will be late. Also I could not reset my password as my address was incorrect, but I haven’t moved in 3 years. This is a joke.”

JS in Missouri said: “We purchased a 2007 Yamaha R6 with the introductory $89 per month for 3 years. Every month, I post my payment online. I wasn’t aware that you have to post it 4 business days in advance of the due date or it is considered LATE and you are NO LONGER in the promotional period of the agreement. I also didn’t know that “Yamaha Credit” was a credit card! What a nightmare! We are selling the bike and taking a loss now on it just to avoid the never ending credit card debt we have because of this! Like the other guy said…you sit in the finance office with mountains of papers to sign as if you are doing a regular car loan purchase. NOT the case with HSBC or Yamaha Credit! I will advise ANYONE AND EVERYONE to NOT go through this company! Bad Bad news!!!”
LB in Georgia said: “I have been plagued with fees that are not correct. When I make a payment online the fee is dumped into the high interest rate category. Online payments thru my bank have quote unquote have not arrived and even with a tracking number they say it is not valid and I have to afford payment info these people are crooks but I have more.”
MC in Massachusetts said: “I got caught in the rush payment scam — paid my account 4 days early with enough leftover for the rush fee. Turns out HSBC Finance billed it on the next bill, which didn’t have anything due for 8 months… I didn’t pay attention and then found out that HSBC had declared the entire balance in default, notified credit agencies and started calling. I called then and “straightened it out”. Two months later, same thing. Three months later… Their collections department had zero record of anything except for their record of nasty calls.”
CP in New York said: “I am 10 days late with my payment. Over the past 10 days HSBC has called my house 48 times. The amount I owe is $42.00.”
