CB in Ohio said: “My first nightmare with HSBC was with my account with a midwestern retail store chain. It was bought out by another chain and I suddenly found my store credit card in the hands of HSBC. What ensued were exhorbitant late fees - as much as $45, brought on by payments that couldn’t be credited on the date of payment.

Sa said this about HSBC and Davids Bridal: “I purchased a wedding dress for my daughter totaling $1,291.18. I had one year to pay the loan. During that time I thought I had an extra month to pay. When I received the last montly payment, there was an additional $400.00 tacked on which was the amount of interest. Unfortanately, I will take responsibility for the additional monies. However, on April 2009, I paid $1300.00, May, $286.48, and June, $200.00, totaling $1786.48. They owe me $95.30!

KK said this about her Carson’s credit card from HSBC: “In June 2009, I received a account past due letter from HSBC for purchases made in April 2009 using my Carson’s charge card in. On the same day as I used the Carson’s charge card I also used another card. The charges on my other card came through as normal and have been paid.
