HG in California said: “You have to be very careful when dealing with HSBC. They are obviously there to make money and use a variety of deceitful methods to drain you of your money. I am sure most people are unaware that they being wrongfully charged when it happens. I just happened to notice errors when I carefully combed through a statement. HSBC was extremely unhelpful when I enquired about these mistakes.

DS told us this in a recent email: “I have been paying extra every week on my equity mortgage to find that Beneficial is applying this extra money towards future monthly payments instead of applying it to my principal as most legitimate lenders do.
