SO in Montana said: “In 2003 I received a car loan. A couple weeks later a women ran a stop sign and hit my family. She totalled my car, so her insurance paid off the loan. (I have the documents to prove it.) I went in and HSBC let me get another car loan for the same price. Same car as well.

I recently sold the Yamaha, however I cannot find title and when I went to MVD was told there was a lien still recorded. I need to find out how to get a lien clearance (notarized) to complete transaction”
